2 Stoney Creek men charged in fatal 2021 shooting in Mississauga

Two Stoney Creek men are among those charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Mississauga nearly two years ago.

Peel Regional Police responded shortly after 8 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2021 to a restaurant parking lot located at 1365 Mid-Way Blvd. in Mississauga.

Homicide detectives say Mohamed Abdirahman was shot and killed while he was parked in his vehicle. The suspects then fled the area.

Following a lengthy investigation, police arrested and charged three men on Thursday.

Twenty-year-old Nigel Gutu of Stoney Creek has been charged with first-degree murder.

Officers also charged Parteek Ghuman, 22, of Stoney Creek and Malachi Riley, 25, of Mississauga with accessory after fact to murder.
