2 dead, 3 in hospital after 401 crash

A man and woman are dead, and three others in hospital, after a crash on the 401 near Chatham.

The OPP say a minivan with five people inside crossed the centre median on Monday night and hit a tractor trailer.

A 2-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital. A teenage girl and another man in the vehicle have been treated for minor injuries.

The truck driver wasn’t hurt.
