16-year-old dead, suspect arrested after alleged stabbing in Windsor, Ont.: police

Police in Windsor, Ont., say a 16-year-old boy is dead after a suspected stabbing Sunday night.

Police say they responded to a report of a person with a weapon on Tecumseh Road around 6 p.m.

They say officers found the boy with apparent stab wounds and he was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say officers later found and arrested a suspect on Goyeau Street.

Police did not provide further details on the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators.
