Approximately 150 dead chickens “bocked” traffic after falling from a dump truck in Grimsby on Monday afternoon.

Niagara police say it happened on Park Rd. South around 12 p.m. when the chicken carcasses scattered along the street.

Officers closed Park Rd. South between Ridge Rd. and Bell Ave. for 90 minutes for clean-up.

The 25-year-old Brampton driver was charged with insecure load.

The Ministry of Transportation’s commercial enforcement unit is investigating.
