VIDEO: Canadian health officials say nearly a dozen Canadians are isolating and on watch as a cruise ship, struck by the deadly hantavirus, approaches the end of it’s expedition. The final passengers and crew members on the MV Hondius were dropped off in Spain Monday and are headed back to the Netherlands, where disinfection and quarantine measures will take place. The World Health Organization have reported three deaths so far and at least 25 people in isolation. Health officials say the overall risk of the virus remains “very low” and those who are in quarantine, positive test or not, could be monitored for up to 42 days.
