Crash injuries claim Burlington man

A man injured in a crash January 23rd in Burlington has died.

Halton Police were called to a multi-vehicle crash early that morning. The victim’s car had struck a tree on the centre median.

The 25 year-old Mohawk College student was living in Canada on a student visa from India and living with extended family in Burlington. He had been in critical condition since the collision.

Police are not releasing his name.

This is the second traffic fatality in Halton region this year, and the first in the city of Burlington.
