Police warning about stolen methadone

Hamilton Police are looking for a male suspect after a drug store robbery last night on James St N.

Investigators say the suspect walked behind the pharmacy counter at Marchese Health Care and began filling a large pillow case with prescription drugs.

Methadone — one of the medications stolen — can be fatal if consumed in a large quantity. Police are advising residents to contact them if they see any of the bottles.

Officers are looking for a suspect described as a white man, approximately 5’7″ in height with a thin build and blue eyes. He was seen wearing a light coloured jacket and a dark coloured hoodie.
