Paddling into the Pan Am Games

People gathered on the banks of 16 Mile Creek near Downtown Oakville Sunday afternoon. Mark Oldershaw won an Olympic Medal for paddling and now he’s been chosen to lead Team Canada into the opening ceremonies at the Pan Am Games. Usually paddling is one of the last sports but this year its one of the first of the Pan Am Games. The dates for paddling is July 11 to July 14th. Mark Oldershaw and Adam Van Koeverden are looking forward to watching all the other sports.
