Remembrance Day services
Remembrance Day services begin in Hamilton, Sunday.
A service will be held at the West Hamilton Cenotaph at St. George’s Reformed Episcopal Church located at 134 Emerson Street. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Another service will take place at the Glanbrook Cenotaph at the Glanbrook Arena located at 4300 Binbrook Road. That service begins at 2 p.m.
HSR is free for veterans in uniform.
In Oakville, Bronte Legion Branch 486 will hold it’s Veterans Parade, Sunday.
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at 79 Jones Street Legion and will make its way to the Bronte Cenotaph on Lakeshore Road.
