Animal shelters call this time of year “kitten season” because of the sheer volume of newborn kittens being abandoned.

Young kittens have been dropped off at the Oakville & Milton humane society every day for the last week and as Adam Atkinson tells us, caring for all the kittens is costly and overwhelming.
