QEW Niagara bound lanes closed due to crash

All Niagara bound lanes were closed on the QEW because of a crash Wednesday morning at Centennial Parkway and didn’t re-open until nearly five hours later.

This caused big delays and headaches for thousands of drivers. Two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries following the crash.

Three transport trucks and an SUV were involved.

The driver of the truck and the driver of the SUV were both taken to hospital but are expected to be okay.

Police say no changes are pending at the moment but the investigation into the crash is still on-going.
