Man struck by vehicle on Rymal Rd.

A 68-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car on Rymal Road W., Monday night.

The man was walking south on Hazelton Avenue across Rymal at an uncontrolled intersection when he was struck around 7:15 p.m.

The man suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle involved remained at the scene.

No charges are expected to be laid.
