Hamilton police locate missing 16-year-old girl

Hamilton police are thanking the public for their help in locating a missing teenager.

The 16-year-old was reported missing by her family on Tuesday. Police had said the teen had never gone missing before and the disappearance was “out of character.”

Shortly before 12 p.m. Thursday, Hamilton police said in a Twitter post that the girl had been found safe and in good spirits.
