Left homeless after a deliberately set fire to their house

Two men say they are homeless and have nowhere to go following an arson on the weekend that forced them from their Hamilton apartments.

The fire broke out at a building on Victoria ave. Saturday night. Three units were being rented at the time, the fire was found on the third floor.

Hamilton police have arrested one of the tenants, 45-year-old Christopher Skye with arson and disregard for human life. The landlord claims surveillance video appeared to show him lighting the fire. Skye lived in the second unit.

The Hamilton fire chief says fire alarms in the building were working at the time.
