OPP investigate fatal crash in Brantford

One person has died following an early morning crash on Highway 403 near Garden Ave. in Brantford.

Police say a vehicle was travelling eastbound on the highway around 5 a.m. when it struck the back of a stopped tractor trailer.

The name of the driver has not yet been released pending notification of the next of kin.

Highway 403 eastbound is closed at Garden Ave. and traffic is being re-routed off the highway.
