St. Catharines man arrested on child pornography charges
A St. Catharines man has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Members of Niagara police’s Internet child exploitation unit began an investigation into child sexual exploitation in August.
By September they had identified a suspect.
Taylor Alexander Simpson, 30, was arrested on Thursday.
He’s charged with making, possessing and distributing child pornography and is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police say the public can report suspicious Internet activities relating to child exploitation anonymously through Crimestoppers or online.
