Litter continues to be a problem at Ontario beaches and conservation areas.

Ontario Parks is reminding people to “leave no trace” when out enjoying nature.

They say staff have had to clean up broken toys, tents and chairs, food wrappers, cigarette butts and diapers left behind on the beach.

In many areas, they can’t keep up with the amount of garbage that’s being left behind.

It’s an issue also being seen at Hamilton conservation areas.
