Man killed in motorcycle crash near St. Joseph’s West 5th campus

A Hamilton man has died in a motorcycle crash near St. Joseph’s West 5th campus.

The man was riding around West 5th St. and Brantdale Ave. around 1 a.m. Monday when he lost control and crashed.

Reports from the scene say nurses standing outside on their break came over and started CPR before emergency crews arrived.

The 21-year-old man died at the scene.

Police say speed and alcohols were not factors in the crash.
