A cyclist has been killed after a hit-and-run involving a truck in Mississauga.

Peel Police were called to Hurontario St. and Dundas St. E just before midnight Wednesday.

The 55-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital where he died.

There is not description for the truck involved.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
