Fort Erie man, 35, charged with child pornography

Niagara police have arrested a 35-year-old man on several child pornography charges.

Police launched an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children back in April.

It led police to a Fort Erie home and the identification of a suspect.

On Thursday, officers arrested Alexander Smith, of Fort Erie.

He has been charged with possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, and distributing child pornography.
