4 children among 6 people dead in Ottawa mass killing

A horrific scene in an Ottawa suburb overnight… as four children and two adults were killed in their home.

Now, Ottawa Police are trying to figure out why a 19-year-old would commit such a horrific crime.

Police believe he’s an international student, who lived with the family that detectives allege he killed.

Police say four children were found dead – the youngest, two-and-a-half months old, along with their mother and a family acquaintance.

The children’s father is the lone survivor and is recovering in hospital.

The family were newcomers to Canada, who recently moved from Sri Lanka.
