Hamilton police have identified and charged three men involved in a shooting near Gage Park late Monday night.
Emergency crews responded around 11 p.m. after witnesses reported seeing a firearm and muzzle flash in the area of Gage Avenue South and Lawrence Road.
Investigators believe two men attempted to rob another man, which led to a fight and shots fired.
Officers arrested 58-year-old Gianni Paul Deluca near the scene Monday. Police searched the man and seized a small revolver-style firearm, pepper spray, fentanyl and cocaine.
Deluca is now facing 10 firearm and drug-related charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm and discharge firearm with intent.

As police were investigating at the crime scene, officers found a trail of blood that led them to a home, where they arrested 37-year-old Daniel Hanson and 25-year-old Hayden Scott Ermel.
Hanson has been charged with four offences, including robbery with violence.
Ermel is facing three separate charges, including robbery with violence.
Ermel was also transported to hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand.
On Tuesday, police carried out a search warrant at the home and recovered two BB guns.
