A man remains in hospital in serious condition after being stabbed in Niagara Falls over the weekend.
Niagara police say they received a call on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. about a disturbance at an address on Stanton Ave. near Ferguson St.
A 26-year-old man had reportedly been stabbed with a knife, resulting in injuries significant enough to send the man to hospital.
Niagara Emergency Medical Service paramedics responded and transported the victim to an out of town trauma center.

The suspect ran from the scene and was found nearby a short time later on Elgin St.
Jesse Shute, 26, of Wainfleet is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon.
Shute attended a bail hearing and was released from custody on a Form 11 release order.
Police say there is no threat to public safety as this was an isolated incident.
