Mobile home fire causes $200K in damage in Port Colborne

Port Colborne’s fire chief says a mobile home was on fire on Sunday in Sherkston Shores, with damages estimated to be around $200,000.

Crews say they were able to take down the fire quickly, but the home was completely destroyed.

Firefighters say the owner of the home was not there at the time and there are no reported injuries.

Fire officials say the cause of the fire appears to be electrical and not suspicious.
