Halton police charge man after several break-ins in Milton, Cambridge, Elora

Halton police arrested a man from Kitchener Tuesday in connection with several break-ins at locations in Milton, Cambridge and Elora.

Officers say a male suspect had allegedly broken into an unoccupied home in the Campbellville area of Milton on Sept. 4.

They say the suspect had used a ladder to access the residence through a second-level patio door, and ransacked the home for valuables.

Investigators say they identified the suspect as someone who was also responsible for multiple break-ins in Cambridge and Elora.

Police arrested 65-year-old Robert Cybulski at his home, and charged him with seven counts of breaking and entering and five counts of disguising with intent.

Cybulski was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Detectives believe Cybulski used a 2016 black Honda Accord during the break-ins. They also believe he is responsible for additional break-ins.
