Single-vehicle collision in Niagara Falls claims life of motorcyclist

A motorcyclist in Niagara Falls has died following a single-vehicle collision on Thursday evening.

The incident happened after 8 p.m. on Stanley Avenue between Thorold Stone Road and Swayze Drive.

Niagara police say the 23-year-old Niagara Falls man was transported to a local hospital by emergency services, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision and any mitigating factors.
