Glancaster Road in Hamilton reopens after reports of large house fire

Glancaster Road in Mount Hope has reopened after emergency crews responded to a fire at a home in the area Wednesday morning.

Officers say they responded to reports of a large structure fire in the area at around 5:26 a.m.

The fire has since been put out, but crews remain on scene checking for hotspots.

There are no reports of injuries at this time, and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

Police briefly closed Glancaster Road between Book Road East and Twenty Road West in both directions, but it has since reopened.
