Brantford police investigate after break-in at Grand River Street restaurant

Brantford police are asking for public help identifying those involved in relation to a break-in at a restaurant on Grand River Street Thursday morning.

An officer was dispatched to the restaurant at around 7 a.m., after it was discovered that it was allegedly broken into overnight.

Investigators say the suspect or suspects fled the area in an older model dark-coloured Honda Civic.

Detectives say a quantity of cash and alcoholic beverages were stolen from an outdoor shipping container — an outdoor sea can — that is used in the operation of the restaurant.
