Advancing Indigenous health education in the region

Indigenous health is a growing priority at McMaster University.

Patricia Farrugia is associate dean of Indigenous Health in the faculty of Health Sciences, where she oversees the Indigenous Health Learning Lodge and works to advance Indigenous health education and resources across the university. She’s also an Anishinaabe-Ojibway physician and practicing orthopedic surgeon with Hamilton Health Sciences.

Patricia sat down with Rick to discuss how her experiences shaped the way she approaches medicine, education and leadership.
