Hamilton native Todd Crocker named radio play-by-play announcer for Toronto Maple Leafs

Hamilton native Todd Crocker has been named the new radio play-by-play announcer for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Crocker will replace Joe Bowen who has called games for 44 seasons.

The Hamiltonian has covered various sports in the area, including the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

He brings almost 20 seasons of experience with him. For the past 13 years, Crocker has been the voice of the Toronto Marlies.

In his new role with the Maple Leafs, Crocker will partner with veteran analyst Jim Ralph, who is entering his 29th season in the role.

The trio of David Bowen, Ben Shulman and Matt Cullen will take over the Marlies microphone.
