Burlington man charged with sexual assault, police seeking more victims

Halton police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a sexual assault investigation in Burlington.

Officers say an adult female victim was allegedly assaulted recently when she attended Vape on Plains II located at 1376 Plains Rd. E.

Investigators say the suspect was identified as the owner of the store, Mouhamad “Frank” Sabra, a 64-year-old resident of Burlington.

Detectives say Sabra also owns a second location called Vape on Plains, located at 70 Plains Rd. W.

Police say the alleged assault took place when the victim was alone in the store with the accused.

On Tuesday, officers arrested Sabra. He has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
