Niagara police are continuing their search for a Thorold, Ont. man who is wanted in connection to an investigation into the alleged trafficking of illegal drugs in the region.

Officers say 33-year-old Michael Russell is wanted for nine charges including probation violations, firearm and drug trafficking related counts.

Detectives ask anyone who sees Russell to not approach him and call 911.

Those who know the whereabouts of the wanted man are asked to call police at 905-688-4111.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Crime Stopper website or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
