Niagara police have arrested and charged a Welland man with several sexual-related offences against children.

On Friday, officers were called to a Welland address for a report of a sexual assault.

Detectives say that three children under the age of 10 were allegedly assaulted by a non-familial male known to the family.

On Wednesday, 56-year-old Anthony Stephen Michael was arrested. He’s facing 13 charges including bestiality in presence of a person, voyeurism, sexual interference with a person under the age of 16 and exposing genitals to a person under 16.

Michael remains in custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing on Thursday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
