Hamilton police ‘actively’ searching for missing teen

Hamilton police are “actively” searching for a 15-year-old boy last seen on Friday.

Mason Buchanan is described as a brown male, approximately 5-foot 8-inches tall and weighing 185 pounds.

He has a muscular build with brown eyes and curly black hair. Police say Mason has a fresh scrape on his right arm.

Mason was last seen in the early evening of Aug. 21 getting into a white SUV.

He was wearing blue jean shorts, a black T-shirt with a yellow and white logo and black Balenciaga shoes with grey reflectors. He also had a black backpack.

Police say he may have changed into a black Lululemon jacket, black jeans and black and grey New Balance shoes.

“Mason’s family is concerned for his well-being and is appealing directly to him to please contact home and let his family know that he is safe,” reads a statement from Hamilton police.
