Four suspects are facing charges after Niagara police recovered about $150,000 in stolen dirt bikes, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and power tools from a Welland break-in.
Detectives say a suspect address was identified through tips received by members of the public.
Last Tuesday, officers executed a search warrant at an address on Champlain Avenue.
Investigators recovered a large quantity of stolen dirt bikes, ATVs and power tools. They are in the process of confirming ownership of the tools and contacting owners.
Adam Devries, 21 and Braeden Colangelo, 19, both of Welland, have been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and break-and-enter.
Jason Bergeron, 21, of Welland and a 17-year-old male have both been charged with three counts of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
All four suspects attended a bail hearing subsequent to their arrest at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St Catharines.

On July 30, officers responded to the area of Highway 20 West and Victoria Avenue in the Town of Pelham for a break-and-enter.
Investigators say a large number of children’s dirt bikes, riding gear and a side-by-side ATV were stolen, worth about $50,000.
Detectives say at around 2:14 a.m., three suspects entered the attached garage of a private home while wearing clothing to hide their identity.
At 2:23 a.m., the suspects removed several vehicles from the property and left the area.
