Team Rubicon supports flood recovery efforts in St. Catharines

Ontario Corps partner Team Rubicon Canada is supporting recovery efforts in St. Catharines after heavy rainfalls caused widespread flooding across the community.

Beginning Tuesday, Team Rubicon Canada deployed volunteers to conduct removal of debris, flooring, drywall and other flood damaged items.

They answered a request for assistance through Ontario Corp to support and assist residents and homeowners through the difficult process of recovery.

“We’ve been working collaboratively with the province since the flooding on July 28 to serve and support our community,” says Mayor Mat Siscoe.

“The arrival of Team Rubicon Canada will help residents who need additional assistance as St. Catharines moves from response into recovery.”
