Boy, 17, hospitalized with serious injuries after Niagara Falls collision

A 17-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision Tuesday in Niagara Falls.

It happened on Lundy’s Lane near Royal Manor Drive.

In a post on X around 1 p.m., Niagara police said the eastbound lanes of Lundy’s Lane were closed between Belmont and Brookfield avenues. The area reopened around 4 p.m.

Video taken of the scene shows an electric scooter on its side in a driveway and a sedan in the intersection.

There’s no word yet on what caused the collision or whether any charges will be laid.

Niagara police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
