63-year-old Fort Erie man hospitalized after e-scooter collision

Niagara police are investigating after a 63-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after an e-scooter collision in Fort Erie.

On Friday at approximately 1:40 p.m., officers responded to a collision on the Friendship Trail.

Authorities say the Fort Erie man lost control of his electric scooter and sustained life-threatening injuries as a result. He was then transported to hospital for treatment.

Investigators say there is no evidence that another vehicle was involved.
