Hamilton man charged with hate-related mischief at Jewish Federation

Hamilton police have charged a man in connection to a hate-related mischief incident targeting the Jewish Federation of Hamilton.

On July 19, an unknown individual attended the organization’s property and threw a bottle containing white paint at the building.

The incident resulted in paint splattering several areas of the overhead signage and the main entrance.

Officers arrested and charged a 51-year-old Hamilton man with one count of mischief under $5,000.
