Police identify the victim in Hamilton’s 3rd homicide of the year

Hamilton police are still investigating the stabbing death of 33-year-old Carel Douse.

Shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday morning, police were called to the area of East Ave. and King St. for a male suffering from stab wounds.  Douse was found with life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital where he died hours later.

Police say three suspects may be involved. They were last seen running northbound on East Ave through Beemer Park. No description was given at this time.

Hamilton police are asking for anyone who may have dash cam video in the area of King St through to Beemer Park and onto Wilson St. E to come forward.
