Two people facing drug-related charges in Oakville

A Mississauga man and a Brampton woman are facing a number of drug-related charges after a routine traffic stop in Oakville.

On Monday, Halton Regional Police officers were conducting patrol stops in the area of Trafalgar Rd. and Cross Ave. when they pulled over a vehicle.

The driver and passenger were arrested after police found cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, and cannabis inside the vehicle.

Courtney Jeshuron, 27, and Rennay Harris, 26, were both charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking a controlled substance. Jeshuron is facing a third charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Halton police executed a search warrant on Tuesday at Jeshuron’s home and found additional crack cocaine and oxycodone.

The estimated value of the controlled substances seized by police is $6,000.
