Allanburg Bridge in Thorold to close for several hours for maintenance

The Allanburg Bridge in the City of Thorold will be closed for several hours for both Wednesday and Thursday.

The St. Lawrence Seaway says the closure on Highway 20 will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both June 24, and June 25.

The closure will block both vehicle and pedestrian traffic, to allow for bridge and road maintenance.

Drivers are encouraged to take alternative routes to get across the canal.
