Music mogul Clive Davis dies at 94

VIDEO: Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston and Bruce Springsteen those are just a fraction of the big names music mogul Clive Davis will be remembered for. The family of the famous lawyer and music executive confirm that 94-year old Davis had died peacefully inside his Manhattan home Monday, due to age-related illnesses. The man known for having an “eye for talent” or the ability to revive a career, also set the mark on building up multiple, major record labels over the span of six decades. Those who remember Clive Davis say the music mogul knew how to recognize a hit song and was in it for the long haul on artists he really believed in. This resulted in him earning five Grammy’s and an induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
