Canadian freestyle ski star Mikaël Kingsbury has won a silver medal in men’s moguls at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

The 33-year-old from Deux-Montagnes, Que., got his fourth Olympic medal, after matching the exact score of Australia’s Cooper Woods of 83.71 in the final run but lost out on a tiebreaker with Woods who scored higher marks for turns.

Widely regarded as the greatest of all time in his discipline, the Canadian adds this silver to the gold he claimed at PyeongChang 2018, and the silvers he previously won at Sochi 2014 and Beijing 2022.

Canada now has 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, putting the country 14th in the medal standings.

Norway continues to lead the pack with 7 gold and 13 medals overall.

The United States, the host Italians, and Switzerland are next with 4 gold medals.
