Two people injured after Sunday evening garage fire in Milton, Ont.

Halton police say two people experienced serious burns after a fire in a detached-garage fire in Milton Sunday evening.

Officers say they got to the fire in the area of Bell Street and Heslop Road just after 5 p.m.

The Halton police media relations officer, Const. Jeff Dillion says a man and woman were brought to the hospital with serious burns.

He says the fire was contained to the property and did not damage any neighboring houses. It is not considered suspicious.
