Brantford man facing multiple drug charges after police raid

A Brantford, Ont., man is facing multiple drug charges in connection with a search warrant issued for a Dundas Street home.

Brantford police say on Nov. 19, they seized more than 39 grams of fentanyl, 764 hydromorphone pills, about five grams of cocaine, a crossbow and arrows along with various firearm ammunition.

Last month,  police launched a drug trafficking investigation in to the suspect’s residence.

Last Wednesday at about 5 a.m., officers charged a 34-year-old man who was also allegedly in violation of a probation order and seven weapons and firearm-related prohibition orders.

Police say the accused was held for a bail hearing.
