On Monday, the City of Hamilton says it’s opening up dialogue and input with Hamiltonians on how to tackle safety issues across the city.
City Hall will hold its Community Safety Summit at LIUNA Station Monday morning.
The event will include city officials, Hamilton police, community organizations and residents, discussing ways to create a safer city.

They’ll be exploring issues such as hate, gender-based violence, youth and gun violence.
Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath will be in attendance.
The summit will begin at 8:30, and will run until 3:30 Monday afternoon.
The event’s registration deadline passed but you can share your input online and feedback will be accepted until Nov. 24.
