Hamiltonians gear up for Ticats-Argos Labour Day Classic

Hamiltonians are getting ready to “oskee-wee-wee” all day long, as the Labour Day Classic will be played this afternoon. The Ticats will host the Argos at Hamilton Stadium.
The excitement is palpable throughout Hamilton as fans prepare for the big game.
The Ticats are going to be playing in front of a sold-out stadium once again, and they’re hoping for a back-to-back win after their victory at last year’s Labour Day Classic.
The iconic showdown dates back to 1949. This year marks the 54th Labour Day Classic for both teams.
It’s set to be a packed day for fans, with live music, a half time performance by Juno Award-winner JJ Wilde, and fan zones.
The team is also collecting non-perishable food items for its Purolator Tackle Hunger event, and attendees are encouraged to donate or bring non-perishable items if they can.
