America attacks Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump announced earlier this evening that American bombers attacked three different sites inside Iran.

The president used his social media site to announce the attack on what he said were three nuclear sites in the country. 

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” reads president Trump’s post.

This comes after Israel had begun bombing Iran earlier this week, also saying it was targeting Iran’s nuclear weapons systems program sites. Iran has been returning fire with missiles and drones, some of which have penetrated Israeli defences.
