Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson dies, mixed emotions amongst fans

Phil Robertson, the patriarch behind Duck Dynasty has died, he was 79-years-old.
His family broke the news in a social media post Sunday, and with his popular TV show just days away from launching its reboot, the timing of his passing has struck a note with many of its fans as well as others, who are focusing in on his anti-gay comments.
Robertson was born in Vivian Louisiana in 1946 and while accounts from his childhood depict that of hardship, he always maintained that he lived a life that was happy, happy happy.
In the wake of his death, fans are cherishing his legacy, as a father, entrepreneur, and reality TV star, while others are remembering homophobic remarks.
Duck Dynasty the revival, will focus on Korie and Willie, Phil’s son and daughter in law.
